Mythbusters – 2008 Elections Style

November 4, 2008 rooster Leave a comment

Guys like me get pretty annoyed at all the slanderous ads out there for politics.  You know that only a small portion of them are true.  We all know that there is no such thing as a squeaky clean, truth telling politician.  At least not in this country.

All I really want is the facts.  That’s why I was very happy to find this article on Q13 Fox News.  It debunks the myths and lies from both sides of the political fence.

Check it out here

That’s it…

I know, I know… it’s been a while since I posted.  This one won’t be very interesting.  At least for those not interested in politics.

Today is August 19th, 2008.  Today we vote on our Primaries.  Today is the first time we vote on something that matters and not be constrained by party lines.

Those of you that know me are probably thinking “What?  The Rooster is opposing party lines?!  I thought he was a die-hard Republican?!?!”

Well, guess what?  I’m tired of party lines.  Our governmental parties are so lost from their roots that “Republican” and “Democrat” really don’t have much of a meaning anymore.  Especially since there are so many variations to each party that it is nearly impossible for one to determine which one they are anymore.

Yup, that’s right.  I’m here to say that my beliefs have evolved to say “F*** THE PARTIES!”

When I drop my vote today, it will be for what I think is right.  Who will do the best job.  Who will save us from our woes.  If not save us, at least voting for who I think will send us on the uphill battle to pull our state, our country, out of the sh*thole that we have gotten ourselves into.

I am NOT a Republican.  I am NOT a Democrat.  I’m not saying I don’t believe and support aspects of either party, I’m just saying that I’m not a full-blooded supporter of either one (extremist, if you will).

Republicans have lost their way.  They are being led by a half-retarded, coke head, alcoholic that is less intelligent than a monkey smoking weed after a take-a-little-extra-off-the-top lobotomy.  Not only that, but we have so-called representatives of the right-wing that are so hypocritical that if they passed all the laws they push through Congress, they would end up with a life-term prison sentence themselves.

Democrats, for the most part, can’t make  a decision for the life of them.  Most of them flip-flop so often that their proposals sit on the table for months, even years, drying up the money and resources of the people of this nation – only to be thrown out resulting in nothing being done except having our money stolen from us.  No less important is how Democrats approach topics such as global warming.  OMFG, don’t even get me started on this one… I’ll save that for another post.

Anyway, the short of my story here is now that we aren’t required to declare our siding party, we have the opportunity to fight for what is right, who will do the best for the people of this nation, and how we ultimately handle foreign relations.

For all your readers out there, do us all a favor.  Get out there and vote for the reasons I mentioned above.  F*ck the parties, vote for what is right and who will grow us a unified nation and get us out of our recession (that’s right Republicans, we are in a recession whether you want to admit you drove us there are not), and actually help our foreign relations instead of starting wars across the globe.

It’s up to you.

Best Campaign Ads

Alright, I found my new favorite website (www.cracked.com).  There was a photoshop contest for “What the presidential campaign would be like if the candidates had balls”.  Here a few of my pictures.  To see all of them, click here.

“Sounds good to me”

March 12, 2008 rooster 3 comments

I saw this headline on Google today:

‘McCain-Romney’ Sounds Good to Romney

Hm… ya, it sure would sound good if you just got your butt whooped in the primaries and this is your only hope at standing in the oval office.

Douche.

Are you kidding me?!

John McCain is the man.  He is, by paper, a Republican, but he sits on the fence with a lot of issues, just like me.  He doesn’t care about what the GOP reputation wants.  He doesn’t care about what the Democrats want.  He goes for what is right (meaning correct, not right wing).  McCain is my kind of guy.  The guy who can get in office, get our parties to work together, and do the job right.

Now, the New York Times, most likely on behalf of the dirty campaign managers, has attempted to defimate McCain by saying he’s committing a sex scandal with some lobbyist.

WTF people!  C’mon!  First off, a man of 71 years of age has about 95% chance of not even being functional.  Second, even if this blatant lie was true, can’t you just be happy it’s with a woman?!

If this is a smear campaign brought on by Democrats, shame on you!  If you bring on another sex scandal, you are just going to make Bill Clinton look bad again, and probably drop Hillary’s approval ratings lower because she is weak and unable to stand up to infidelity (after all, if you can’t stand up for yourself at home, how can you be expected to stand up for your nation.

If it’s from Obama’s campaign – I would be surprised for such a childish tactic that just proves you aren’t truly concerned about change.  If it’s you, you are just pulling the same old song and dance of one party versus the other, contrary to your commitment to bring parties together and take care of true issues at hand.

If it’s Huckabee just trying to get his leg up in the GOP primaries: get the f*** over it you douchebag.  You suck, you’re old school, and no one likes you anyway.  Not even a Republican like me.  Face it, you’re not the nominee.

If none of the above is true and this just comes from NYT, that’s just proof that the media is just one big piece of lying crap that doesn’t care about informing the public of truth, rather ratings and shock value.

Well guess what?  You aren’t pulling my vote from McCain.

After that last post, I decided to search around for more details on Bush’s house and found this parody site on this floor plans.  The pictures below are all excerpted from http://www.westernwhitehouse.org/

A sad day…

What America needs:  A non-partison president.  A president with an intelligent sense of humor.  A president that… well shit, that was really all we need.  It appears that Stephen Colbert has bowed out of the presidential race that he was going to, quote, “…run only in his native South Carolina, a key primary state” and planned to run as a Democrat and a Republican”.That is really too bad.  It probably would have been the best thing for this country since sliced bread.

The Phone Call

Headline news for the day:  Al Gore wins the Nobel Peace Prize.

In other news: Global Warming Campaign is demoted in quality and notoriety as 5th grade volcano science project is turned in by Timmy.

Moving on, I was reading this article and one line stood out to me:

“Fratto {White House spokesman} said Bush has no plans to call Gore [to congratulate him].”

What the liberal media doesn’t want you to know is that Bush actually did call Gore.  He simply exclaimed:  “I still beat you, sucka!”

Just say no!
